The Apostle Paul said, "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead." (Philippians 3:10-11, NIV) God told us in Jeremiah 29:11-12, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Our Heavenly Father does not wish us to experience life alone or to experience life in isolation. He created us to depend on Him for all our needs. He knows our sufferings and our joys and desires for us to draw near to Him in all of life's experiences.
But what if you don't know how to deal with these life experiences that come your way? You’re thinking: "Why do I feel depressed?" "Can our marriage be saved?" "Can I recover emotionally from incest or rape?" "Is there someone who can help me with my anger?" "How can I heal from trauma?
In scripture, we are instructed to, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." That is what G62 Counseling Ministry is here for. No one should ever think that they are totally independent and do not need help from others. No one should have to feel like they’re treading life's waters alone with no hope in sight. Together, with God, we can help you reach that 'hope and a future.'
